World Congress of Gastroenterology 2026

September 30 - October 03, 2026 | New Delhi, India

Transforming Gastrointestinal Health, Preserving Nature

Thank You for Making WCOG 2026 Truly Special

On behalf of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG), World Gastroenterology Organisation, Indian National Association for Study of the Liver (INASL), Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation India (CCFI), Indian Pancreas Club (IPC) and Indian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association (INMA), we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the World Congress of Gastroenterology (WCOG 2026) in New Delhi.

WCOG 2026 has been a landmark occasion for all of us. Held in India for the first time, the Congress brought together the global gastroenterology community for an inspiring exchange of science, ideas, experiences and perspectives.

The response to the Congress has been truly overwhelming. 1,156 abstracts were received, reflecting the depth and diversity of research being undertaken across the field. Participants and faculty from 61 countries joined us in New Delhi, making WCOG 2026 a truly global gathering.

Over these four days, we witnessed outstanding scientific discussions, thought-provoking presentations and meaningful collaborations across gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, pancreatology, GI surgery and allied disciplines.

But WCOG 2026 was about more than science. It was as much about science as celebration of cultures, forging friendships, bonhomie across borders, and sharing and caring”

We hope that, beyond the scientific programme, you also took home memories of New Delhi – its history, food, culture, warmth and the many conversations and connections that began here.

We are deeply grateful to our delegates, speakers, moderators, abstract presenters, organising committees, collaborators, industry partners, volunteers, staff and every member of the WCOG 2026 family whose contribution made this Congress possible.

A special thank you to everyone who travelled from across India and around the world to join the World Congress of Gastroenterology. Your presence, participation and enthusiasm made WCOG 2026 the memorable milestone we had hoped it would be.

As the Congress comes to a close, we take with us not only the knowledge and ideas shared over these four days, but also the memories and connections that will continue well beyond New Delhi.

Thank you for being a part of WCOG 2026.

We hope to see you all again soon.
