One Day Delhi tour
Pick up from the hotel and begin your Delhi tour. Our first stop would be in Old Delhi at Jama Masjid, which is India’s oldest and largest mosque. After visiting the Mosque, you will enjoy an old Delhi rickshaw ride which would be One of the highlights of the tour as you will be ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, a famous shopping bazaar often referred to as “Silver Street.”
Next, drive to Central Delhi to visit the revered Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, an iconic Sikh temple known for its spiritual ambiance and massive community kitchen (Langar) that feeds over 25,000 people daily, regardless of caste, creed, or background. Continue your journey to Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.
Next, drive to India Gate, a war memorial built in honors of the soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I. From here, enjoy a drive past the grand colonial-era buildings of Lutyens’ Delhi, including the President’s House and Parliament House, iconic remnants of the British Raj.
Our Next stop will be Qutub Minar, visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak during the Slave Dynasty.
Our last visit would be Lotus temple (a Baháʼí House of Worship) known for its unique lotus-shaped architecture and welcoming atmosphere for all faiths.
Drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
